Placing an Order
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods or services.
As all of our items are bespoke and one off items, we will advise you in the unlikely event that the item is no longer available and refund any money paid.
Studio hours are Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.00pm.
The buyer assumes all responsibility for ordering the correct item
Rocks to Riches agrees to use only quality stones from Swarovski.
Crystal stone embellishment to personal effects
If a client supplies their own item for STONE EMBELLISHMENT ONLY, Rocks to Riches will use the size colour and shape of stone seen fit for the application unless otherwise agreed in writing on the Sales Contract with the client.
Stones will be will be applied to your personal item using methods Rocks to Riches see fit which can include glues adhesions and sewing or other methods where necessary to secured the stones to your own supplied item.
All items for embellishment must supplied clean and free of dust/adhesive as this will affect how the stones adhere to the item.
Stones are applied to remain adhered to the item for as long as possible, but permanence cannot be guaranteed. Clear adhesive may be visable around the stones and in some cases when applying to dark coloured fabrics/materials the glue may darken the material slightly around the stones. This is more visable when stones are spaced further apart and is an unavoidable part of the process.
Suitability of Item for Stoning
There are a wide range of surfaces that stones can be applied to and the results will vary depending on the surface not the application or the adhesive. Adhesion to the surface is dependant on many factors and may in some rare cases the surface material may react with the adhesive and result in loosening stones. This chemical make up of the material cannot be assessed prior to adhesion. This is more likely with leather and plastic surfaces. For this reason the preferred material for your project is fabric.
All personal items are supplied to Rocks to Riches at the clients cost and at the clients risk. It is strongly recommended that any item of value is fully insured by the client, as Rocks to Riches does not offer insurance for clients personal items at any time due to loss, damage, or unsatisfactory workmanship of any description. If a client is unhappy with the result of work carried out by Rocks to Riches including (but not limited to) stone application and it is in accordance with the written Sales Order, a return refund or exchange will not be offered.
Postage costs charged cover the return postage of the items back to the client. The client is responsible for all postage charges.
Rocks to Riches shall use best endeavors to supply the goods ordered to the customer specification and to comply with the customer's requirements in respect of colour shade and design. However Rocks to Riches gives no warranty or guarantee save that he shall use best endeavors for the goods supplied to correspond as close as possible to the customers requirements and for that which was reasonably available at the date of contract.
Returns
PLEASE NOTE Our embellishment only services (ie embellishment to clients personal items) are excluded from all exchange/return / refund policies.
Prizes are also excluded from our returns policy
Providing your item has not been worn, you can cancel the contract and return the item to us up to 7 working days from the day items are received. A return will be processed upon receipt of the returned item.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE OUR RETURNS FORM If returning an item & email us at mail@rockstoriches.co.uk to inform us of your wishes within 7 days. You must return goods to us at your own expense and at your own risk. Please obtain proof of posting and insure goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage. Items must be returned to us in 7 working days for cancellation of contract.
If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration to the items, they will be non returnable.
If you have purchased shoes, we advise protecting the items by wearing a pop-sock when trying the shoes on to avoid marking.
In the event of a personal effects embellishment order being canceled for any reason whatsoever, the service may still payable.
Refunds
Refunds are not issued unless agreed with Rocks to Riches. Gift Cards are non refundable
Faulty Goods
If there is a problem with the goods or services purchased from Rocks to Riches please contact us to rectify the problem. Like many embellishments, the application of crystal stones is a be-spoke process. There may be a minor shedding or loosening of a small amount of stones on your item. This is not considered to be a fault.
Care of your purchased item / embellishment
By purchasing your embellishment or item, you acknowlage the following care instructions:- 1. Please do not cleaned your item with any abrasive or chemical substances whatsoever. 2.Please do not expose your item to temperatures of - 5 degrees. 3.Avoid rubbing the stones on each other or other items or surfaces as this may damage the stones and/or the adhesive 4. Do not submerge in Fluids such as (but not limited to) water.
Servicing agreement
This may also be referred to as our 'Guarantee'. We offer a free stone replacement service for up to 2 years from embellishment. All aspects of this servicing are subject to Rocks to Riches discretion. Rocks to Riches reserve the right to refuse to service an item for any reason. For all servicing, customers are liable to pay all postage (to / return) and all other fees incurred. The servicing agreement is limited to replacing up to 50 stones, although clients may send their item to Rocks to Riches as often as they wish. If stone replacement exceed 50 stones, a fee will be charged per stone. This will be agreed before the servicing is undertaken with the client. If the item has been wilfully damaged / the stones have been forcibly removed / item has be physically damaged resulting in the loosening of stones Rocks to Riches reserves the right to refuse the free servicing agreement.
Undelivered Parcels
All orders placed with us will be sent in parcels that will need to be signed for. Prizes will be sent 2nd class - Winners have the option to upgrade to a recorded delivery at a charge. Local sorting offices will usually keep uncollected parcels for up to two weeks and after this they will usually be returned to us. The postage will need to be paid for by the client again if this happens. If the postal service did not leave a 'calling card' a claim should be put in to Royal Mail by the client directly. If the parcel was returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address given on the order form then postage will also need to be paid again. We do not guarantee delivery and do not offer any cash alternative or compensation for lost or damaged items in any way.
Delayed Parcels
Please be aware that due to the Royal Mail strikes packages may be delayed longer than expected by the postal service. Rocks to Riches can only give a time line from the date an item is received and a date an item is dispatched. Proof of both will be provided upon request and Rocks to Riches do not take any responsibility for delays caused by postal services.
International Shipping
All international clients are liable to pay any and all applicable import / export / tax fees that may occur in relation to the parcels inbound and outbound of the UK and final destination. Rocks to Riches does not assume responsibility for advising clients of the fees as they vary from country to country. Clients must ensure they are aware of costs before placing an order.
Security policy
Our on-line Pay Pal ordering system is a secure system operated independently of Rocks to Riches. We do not hold any personal information for these services.
Excluded Services
Personalised items supplied for embellishment such as (but not limited to) crystal stone detailing are excluded from our 7 day cancellation refund policy. Items purchased from Rocks to Riches with an additional bespoke stoning requested for the item will also be excluded from our 7 day cancellation policy.
Privacy Policy
All the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential
Photographs of the clients embellished items may be used on the Rocks to Riches web site or in other promotional materials.
Rocks to Riches reserves the right to refuse a project for any reason.
